Canine Heritage Probiotic Blend has been formulated to contain the optimal combination of probiotics your dog requires to stabilize their gut microflora. This blend's species-specific probiotics have the following characteristics:
-
Survive gastric digestion (bile salts, low pH), locate in the large intestine (adhere and colonize) and proliferate.
-
"Shift” gut microbiome microbial populations.
-
Increased production of short-chain fatty acids (SCFA), defense against pathogenic bacteria, reduced infection, reduced inflammation, and increased nutrient absorption.
-
Positive effect on both gut epithelial barrier function and interleukin (cytokine) production (which regulates immune response).

Co-fermented species specific probiotic blend: Lacticaseibacillus casei, Limosilactobacillus fermentum, Levilactobacillus brevis and Enterococcus faecium.
